WooCommerce runs on WordPress, so you use our WordPress plugin or embed the map like on any WordPress page - for example on a "Stores" or "Pickup points" page.

Plugin available as a downloadOur WordPress plugin also works in WooCommerce shops: block, shortcode and a connection to your account.

What you get

A location map with search, filters and directions in your WooCommerce shop. Customers find the nearest store, pickup point or dealer without leaving your shop. You manage locations centrally in My Store Locator - separate from your products and orders.

Before you start

  • A My Store Locator account (sign up free)
  • A published map (status "Live")
  • For the plugin, an administrator account in WordPress; for the way without the plugin, the embed code from the Embed Studio in the app
  • Permission to edit pages in WordPress

With the plugin

  1. Download the zip file above (do not unzip it).
  2. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, choose the file, click Install Now and then Activate Plugin.
  3. Open Settings → My Store Locator and click Connect with My Store Locator. Log in and pick your map - the map token is filled in for you.
  4. Add the My Store Locator block or the shortcode [my_store_locator] to a page such as "Stores" and link it in your shop menu or footer.

Two-click consent is on by default. A plugin installed from a zip does not update itself; new versions are published here, and once the plugin is approved in the WordPress directory, updates come automatically. All details are in the WordPress guide.

Without the plugin: Custom HTML block

  1. In Embed Studio, copy the code from the iframe tab.
  2. In WordPress, create a page under Pages → Add New, for example "Stores", or open an existing one.
  3. Add a Custom HTML block and paste the code into it.
  4. Publish the page and link it in your shop menu or footer.
<iframe src="https://app.my-store-locator.com/#/m/YOUR-TOKEN" title="Store locator" style="width:100%;height:640px;border:0;max-width:100%" loading="lazy" allow="geolocation"></iframe>

Want the map on a WooCommerce page such as "Cart" or "Checkout", for example to point to pickup points? Add the block there in the block editor. With older, classic themes this works through a "Custom HTML" widget in a widget area, depending on the theme.

Prefer a script to an iframe? The JavaScript tab in Embed Studio gives you a widget that adjusts its height to the content:

<div id="mystorelocator" data-token="YOUR-TOKEN" data-height="auto" data-lang="en" data-consent="true"></div>
<script src="https://app.my-store-locator.com/widget.js" async defer></script>

In Embed Studio, turn on "Load the map only after a click (GDPR)" and copy the code again. Visitors then see a placeholder with a privacy notice first, and the map only loads after a click. More under GDPR & security.

If the map does not show up

  • Code gets stripped: some security plugins or restricted user roles filter iframes. Edit the page as an administrator.
  • Caching or optimisation plugin: if the widget script is deferred or combined, exclude widget.js from optimisation or use the iframe.
  • "Map not available": the map is still a draft. Publish it in the app.
  • Content Security Policy: if your site sends a CSP, frame-src must allow app.my-store-locator.com (for the widget also script-src).

All options are explained in the embedding guide.

FAQ

Does the map connect to my WooCommerce products?

No. My Store Locator manages locations, not products or stock. You can store which brands or ranges a location carries as a custom field and offer it as a filter.

Can I show pickup points and stores separately?

Yes. Create categories such as "store" and "pickup point" and filter by them, or create two maps with different locations.

Will the map slow down my shop?

The map loads in its own frame from our server and leaves your WordPress database untouched. With loading="lazy" or two-click consent it only loads when needed.

Does this work with Elementor or Divi?

Yes. Use the page builder's HTML or code element and paste the same code. More in the WordPress guide.
