Location finder for care and social services

Families usually search under time pressure. They want to know who is nearby and whether that location can take anyone on at all.

The typical situation

Home care providers, everyday support services, counselling centres and charities often run many locations, each covering its own area. On the website, that usually ends up as a long list of addresses, sometimes a PDF. The question that matters most to families remains unanswered: can someone here help me, and soon?

On top of that, capacity changes all the time. A location is full today and accepting clients again next month. If that information is only available by phone, many calls end up in the wrong place.

How My Store Locator fits

Statuses instead of guesswork. You create your own statuses, such as "accepting new clients", "waiting list" or "currently not accepting". Visitors filter the map by them. A status can count as "open", or be hidden from the map entirely, for example for locations that are still being set up.

Service areas and services as custom fields. Postcode areas, districts, languages or services such as companionship and housekeeping: custom fields let you store this per location and show it on the cards, optionally as a filter.

Locations maintain their own entries. With the store manager role, the head of a location edits only their own entry: status, opening hours, contact details. Head office keeps the overview, and the information stays current.

Enquiries in the right place. The enquiry form on the map lets families send their request with a reference to the location. Enquiries arrive in the app's enquiry inbox. E-mail notifications are coming soon.

Clear availability. Opening hours with two time slots per day, plus special days for public holidays or closures.

Where is coverage missing? Statistics show where people searched without finding a location nearby, including the distance to the nearest one. That helps when planning new locations. This report is part of the Business plan.

Privacy. Statistics work without cookies and do not store IP addresses. With consent mode, the map only loads after a click. More on the GDPR & security page.

For networks that work with statuses, the Finder template is a good fit: a search box, a status filter, cards with the key details and a fixed map alongside. Smaller providers with only a few locations can do well with "List + map", which is already included in the Free plan.

The Finder and roles for multiple users are part of the paid plans. See pricing for the plan that matches your number of locations and users.
