Store locator for franchise systems
Head office wants a consistent look, while partners on the ground know the current details. Both belong in the same store locator.
The typical situation
In a franchise system, new partners join all the time, others move or change their phone number. Head office usually maintains the location list on the website itself and only hears about changes when a customer complains. At the same time, the brand should look the same everywhere: same colours, same details, same logic for every partner.
For prospective franchisees, the map is also a showcase. It shows how large the network is and where territories are still open.
How My Store Locator fits
Partners maintain their own location. With the store manager role, a franchisee edits only the locations you assign to them: opening hours, special days, contact details, status. They don't see anything else. Invitations work via a one-time link; sending invitations by e-mail is coming soon.
Head office stays in control. Owners and administrators define the design, templates, categories and custom fields. Changes are recorded in an audit log. For other staff there are also the Editor and Viewer roles.
A consistent look. Set the brand colour, marker colour, font, corners and map style once. You decide centrally which fields appear on the cards. The embed code never changes, not even when you switch templates.
Statuses for your network. Custom statuses such as "opening soon" or "accepting new clients" help customers and show prospects that the network is growing. Statuses can also be hidden from the map.
Quick start with CSV. Import existing partner lists via CSV with column mapping, up to 5,000 rows per run. The import history keeps things traceable.
Plan expansion with data. Statistics show searches with no location nearby and the distance to the nearest one. That way you see which cities have demand but no partner yet. This report is part of the Business plan.
Several maps. One map for customers, a separate one for franchise recruitment, or one per region: depending on your plan, you can create several maps.
Recommended template and plan
For most franchise systems, the Finder template fits well, with search, a status filter, cards and a fixed map. If you want to show many locations at a glance, also take a look at Explorer (full-screen map with a floating card row) or Split View.
Partner roles, multiple maps and the "demand without location" report are part of the larger plans. See pricing for the current plans. Enterprise is available on request for very large networks.
