Location finder for restaurants and cafés

Hungry guests search on their phones and want to know two things: where is the nearest restaurant, and is it open right now?

The typical situation

Restaurant chains, quick-service brands, cafés and bakeries with several locations share one problem: opening hours differ from site to site, many close in the afternoon or have a rest day, and public holidays have their own rules again. At the same time, guests almost always search on the go, on their phone, often just before heading out.

A plain list of addresses doesn't cut it. Guests want to see what's nearby, whether it's open and start directions or call with one tap. And when a location closes for the season, opens its terrace for summer or opens for the first time, that should be on the website without a detour via the web agency.

How My Store Locator fits

Opening hours with a break. Two time slots per day per location, for example 11:30 to 14:30 and 17:30 to 22:00. Rest days and public holidays go in as special days. The "open now" filter shows guests only what is open at the moment.

Built for phones. With "use my location", the map finds the nearest restaurants without typing. Directions, call and website are one tap away.

Offers as filters. Use categories and custom fields to record what a location offers: delivery, takeaway, outdoor seating, breakfast, vegan menu, step-free access. Guests filter by them.

Announce new openings. A custom status like "opening soon" shows new locations before day one. Statuses can also be hidden, for instance during a temporary closure.

Group and event enquiries. The enquiry form on the map lets guests send a request to a location, for example for groups or celebrations. Enquiries arrive in the app's enquiry inbox. E-mail notifications are coming soon. This does not replace a table reservation system.

Restaurant managers do their own updates. With the store manager role, the restaurant manager enters special days and changes for their own location.

What guests look for. Statistics show how often directions were requested, calls started and locations opened. From the Pro plan you see the top search terms; on the Business plan also searches in places with no location nearby.

Privacy included. Statistics work without cookies and without storing IP addresses. If you wish, the map only loads after a click, so no map service is contacted without consent. More on the GDPR & security page.

Since guests nearly always search on mobile, Mobile Sheet is the first choice: a map with a pull-up list, built phone-first. On desktop, List + map works well. Both templates are included in the Free plan. For a striking full-screen map, consider Explorer.

A handful of locations fits into the Free plan. For more locations, users and map views, have a look at the plans on the pricing page.
