My Store Locator grew out of hands-on work, not a market study. Here's who is behind it and the principles we work by.
Who is behind My Store Locator
My Store Locator is a service of Internet am Dornbusch (owner: Sajjad Hanifa), based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The product was founded and is led by Sajjad Hanifa. Our development team works in Germany and Pakistan, with an office team in Islamabad.

How the product came about
It started with a simple requirement: website visitors should quickly find the nearest location, see at a glance which locations are open and get in touch directly – whether the network has ten locations or several hundred.
We built a first version on Oracle APEX. It showed us how many companies face the same question: how do I get my locations onto my own website, accurate, up to date and privacy-friendly, without starting a development project of my own?
That became My Store Locator: a standalone application we rebuilt from the ground up. What we learned from the first version shows in many details, such as custom statuses like "opening soon" or the "Finder" template with search, status filter and a fixed map.
What we offer today
My Store Locator is built for businesses with several locations – retail chains, franchise systems, dealer networks, care and social services. You manage your locations in a web app, choose one of six templates and embed the map on your website via iframe or script. On top of that come CSV import, opening hours with special days, roles for your team and statistics that work without cookies. The app is available in German and English. Our principles
Privacy by default. The statistics work without cookies and do not store IP addresses. The map can be embedded so that it only loads after a click. You download the data processing agreement directly in the app.
Hosted in Germany. Your location data and your visitors' enquiries are stored on servers in Germany.
Fair pricing. A free plan for small networks, clear tiers for larger ones. See current prices on the pricing page.
An honest roadmap. We only put on our website what the application can do today. Anything still in development is labelled "coming soon" – for example Google Maps as a map provider, the WordPress plugin and two-factor sign-in.
