Dealer locator for manufacturers and dealer networks

People who want to buy or service your product need the nearest dealer. A good dealer locator takes them straight there and shows you where dealers are missing.

The typical situation

Many manufacturers don't sell directly but through specialist retailers, distribution partners and service workshops. The website has a "where to buy" or "find a dealer" page fed from a sales export. That list goes stale quickly, and not every dealer carries every brand or product line.

For end customers, only one thing matters: where can I get exactly this product, and who repairs it? For sales, the interesting part is where people search for dealers that don't exist there yet.

How My Store Locator fits

Dealer tiers as categories. Create categories such as "premium partner", "authorised dealer" or "service partner". Visitors filter by them, and the map shows at a glance which role each dealer has.

Brands and product lines as custom fields. Custom fields let you record for each dealer which brands, product groups or services they offer. These fields can appear on the cards and work as filters.

Maintenance via CSV. The dealer list usually comes from your ERP or CRM. CSV import with column mapping handles up to 5,000 rows per run, and the import history shows what was loaded when. An external API that lets your own system sync dealers automatically is coming soon.

Dealers worldwide. Addresses and coordinates work in every country. The public map can be filtered by country, and the interface is available in German and English.

Enquiries to dealers. The enquiry form lets prospects send a request that refers to a specific dealer. It arrives in the app's enquiry inbox. Dealers you invite with the store manager role can keep their own entry up to date. E-mail notifications are coming soon.

Spot gaps in your network. Statistics count directions, calls and clicks to the dealer's website. On the Business plan, the "demand without location" report shows where visitors searched without finding a dealer nearby, including the distance to the nearest one. That is a solid basis for recruiting new dealers.

Your brand, your look. Match brand colour, marker colour, font and map style to your website. Custom CSS is possible too. You add the embed code once; it stays the same when you switch templates.

For a classic "where to buy" page, List + map or Split View with list, map and detail panel work well. If visitors mainly search by postcode or town and should filter by category, the Finder is a good choice.

Larger dealer networks with several hundred entries need one of the paid plans. See pricing for which one fits. Enterprise is available on request for groups with many brands and maps.
