Branch and advisor finder for banks and insurers
Customers aren't just looking for an address. They want the right person to talk to, with the right expertise, languages and consultation hours.
The typical situation
Banks run branches, advisory centres and self-service points, each with different opening and consultation hours. Insurers often work with a network of agencies, tied agents and broker support offices. For customers, the question is usually very specific: where can I get advice in person, say on a mortgage, and is there someone who speaks Turkish or English?
On top of that come strict requirements for privacy and accountability. A location finder that passes visitor data to third parties or sets cookies without asking doesn't suit a bank or an insurer.
How My Store Locator fits
Location types as categories. Distinguish between branch, advisory centre, self-service point, agency or office. Visitors filter for exactly what they need and see at a glance whether a location offers advice or self-service only.
Expertise and languages as custom fields. Record each location's advisory focus, such as mortgages, business banking or retirement planning, plus the languages spoken. Custom fields can appear on the cards and act as filters.
Opening and consultation hours. Two time slots per day cover typical banking hours with a lunch break. Special days handle public holidays, bridge days and temporary closures. If a branch closes or becomes a self-service point, change its category or status instead of deleting the entry.
Agencies maintain their own entry. With the store manager role, an agency or branch edits only its own location. Owner, Administrator, Editor and Viewer cover the remaining tasks, and changes are recorded in an audit log.
Appointment requests via the enquiry form. Customers can send a request to a location from the map, including a preferred date. It arrives in the app's enquiry inbox. E-mail notifications are coming soon. This does not replace an online booking system.
Privacy that suits the industry. Hosting in Germany, a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR, statistics without cookies and without storing IP addresses, a two-click consent mode and company data separated at database level. Details on the GDPR & security page. Two-factor authentication and single sign-on are coming soon.
Your own look. Adapt colours, font and map style to your corporate design. The portal can be used white label with your logo. The map is available in German and English.
Recommended template and plan
For a branch and advisor finder, Split View works well: list, map and a detail panel with expertise, languages and hours. Alternatively, the Finder offers a strong search with filters. For individual agency pages, use Single location.
Banks and insurers with many locations and users usually end up on the Business plan or Enterprise on request. See pricing for the current plans. We are also happy to answer your data protection officer's questions in a demo.
