Getting started

This guide takes you from sign-up to a map on your website, in the right order. You can change everything later.

Before you start

Want to look around first? The app's login page has a "Try the demo – no sign-up" button. It opens a demo company with sample data that you can reset at any time.

1. Create your account

Sign up with your name, e-mail address, company name and a password. New accounts start with a 14-day trial with all Pro features.

After sign-up, a short setup assistant guides you through the next steps. You can skip it and do each step on your own later.

2. Add company details

In the assistant or under Settings, enter:

  • company name and website
  • industry
  • the country where most of your locations are

You also set your logo, brand colour and font in Settings. The map uses these as the starting point for its look.

3. Add your first location

Create a location with name, street, postcode and city. Then add what you need:

  • phone, e-mail and website
  • opening hours, including two time slots per day and special days such as holidays or closures
  • custom fields, if you have set any up

If you have many locations, use the CSV import.

4. Categories and statuses

You create categories (for example "Store", "Partner", "Outlet") and statuses (for example "Active", "Opening soon") right while editing a location – just type a new name. There is no separate admin page you need to visit first.

For each status you can decide

  • whether it counts as "open", and
  • whether locations with that status appear on the map.

That way you can already maintain planned locations but keep them hidden.

5. Create a map

Under Maps, create a new map and give it a name, for example "Our locations". Then choose which locations the map should show.

6. Pick a template and style it

There are six templates, from "List + Map" through "Mobile Sheet" to "Finder". The Free plan includes templates 1 to 3. See the templates page for an overview.

Then adjust the look: brand and marker colour, font, corners, density, map style (light, dark, grey) and which fields show on the cards. The live preview updates as you go.

Note: Switching the template later does not change the embed code, so you can change your mind at any time.

7. Publish the map

New maps start as a Draft. Drafts are not publicly reachable – visitors see "Map not available". Set the map to Published (live) once it is ready.

8. Embed it on your website

Open Embed Studio, select your map and copy the code. You can choose between an iframe, the JavaScript widget and ready-made instructions for WordPress, Shopify, Wix and Webflow. There is also a direct link and a QR code.

If you need two-click consent, turn on "Load the map only after a click (GDPR)" before copying. Everything else is in the embedding guide and under Integrations.

9. Invite your team

Under Team & roles you invite colleagues. These roles are available:

  • Owner: full rights including billing (the account you signed up with)
  • Administrator: manages everything except billing
  • Editor: edits locations, maps and content
  • Store manager: edits only their own assigned stores
  • Read only: sees everything, changes nothing

An invitation creates a one-time link that you send to the person yourself. Sending invitations by e-mail is coming soon.

What next?

  • Analytics shows how often the map was viewed and searched – including where people look for you but you have no location.
  • Enquiries from the map's contact form arrive in the app's Enquiries inbox.
  • New locations appear automatically on every map they are assigned to.

Try it with your own locations.

Create an account, import your locations, embed the map. The Free plan stays free – and you can test Pro for 14 days.
